{:id}Jakarta [UNAS] – Pengukuhan MenPAN-RB Prof. Dr. Yuddy Chrisnandi S.E.,M.M. telah usai dilaksanakan (23/5. Yuddy menjadi guru besar ke 18 dan termuda di Universitas Nasional. Acara pengukuhan Yuddy di Universitas Nasional dihadiri oleh para petinggi Negara dan para jajarannya, salah satu yang datang juga memberi sambutan dan selamat adalah Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla dan Menteri Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Menristek Dikti), Prof. Mohammad Nasir.
“Dengan dikukuhkannya Yuddy Chrisnandi sebagai guru besar akan memperkuat posisi Universitas Nasional menghadapi daya saing bangsa. Negara akan kuat jika dapat mencetak tenaga-tenaga ahli dan sarjana yang berkompeten untuk menghadapi MEA (Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN),” ungkap Prof. Nasir.
Kesiapan ini, lanjutnya, juga harus disadari oleh semua pihak untuk dapat menjadi lebih baik. Universitas Nasional, lanjut Nasir, harus menjadi leader Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang mampu mencetak kader-kader tingkat nasional dan Internasional.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Nasir juga menegaskan bahwa gelar guru besar merupakan capaian tertinggi karir seorang dosen. “Prof Yuddy mampu mendapatkan jabatan tertinggi dibidang ini, untuk itu saya ucapkan selamat,” lanjutnya.
Kiranya, imbuh dia, pencapaian ini dapat memberikan inspirasi untuk dosen dan mahasiswa untuk membuat jurnal-jurnal, karena guru besar memiliki sebuah karya jurnal yang asli, bukan plagiarism yang merupakan cacat moral akademik, dan selalu harus meningkatkan kualitas tersebut.
